We have added to our growing Design and Development team.
We have added to our growing Design and Development team by hiring Chris Couriard, as a Senior UX Designer.
Chris's background spans User Experience, Graphic Design, and Marketing. He has worked in the industry for the last 13 years, including time with a cloud computing company, an environmental company, and, more recently, with several clients across the Island in a freelance capacity.
Having provided User Experience services to our clients since our inception, we have seen further growth in the demand for UX Design and Research projects from some of Jersey's largest companies. As a result, we needed to expand our in-house UX team.
Our founder Steve Quinn, who oversees the Design and Development team, has an MSc in User Experience Design and has led the UX projects for SystemLabs. Steve has selected Chris to work with the team as demand for UX services in this area continues to grow.
Steve, our Chief Product Officer, said, "Good UX is vital to all businesses looking to gain an ROI online. At SystemLabs, we have always been a UX-focused team. Seeing more local companies now acknowledging the benefits of good UX and actively seeking to improve theirs is a great step forward for everyone. Many businesses now understand the link between providing customers with great online experiences and increased revenues. Working with Chris for the last year in a freelance capacity has highlighted his skills and their positive impact on our projects. Having Chris join us full-time is a great asset and a superb opportunity to advance our in-house UX skills."
On joining us, Chris said, "UX has always been a big passion of mine and I look forward to bringing that and my experience to the team. Having worked with SystemLabs, I know the calibre of projects and the high standard of work they produce. I'm excited to join their team full-time and look forward to delivering excellent user experiences across our projects."
